There are 4 types of Professions in the world of GodsWar Online: Alchemy, Blacksmithing, Mythcrafting and Scholarship. A player is allowed to learn only one of them at a time. The acquisition of a profession requires the corresponding Profession Skillbook, which allows you to unlock the secrets of a particular profession with the help of a Profession Mentor (100, -180) in the main city. A Profession Skillbook can be acquired by completing the required Lvl 70 main quest. Once you've mastered a profession skill, you can put it to use by bringing up the Manufacture UI [hotkey: V]. Remember creating a recipe is usually the first thing to do after mastering a profession skill.
4 Professions available to learn
Alchemy: Alchemist's can create such a variety of items, as HP/MP potions, Sigil Stones, Exp/TP-boosting potions, to aid in battle.
Blacksmithing: Blacksmiths create mount gear and work to upgrade mounts.
Mythcrafting: Mythcrafting allows players to craft a variety of outfits and other items like Holy Spirit, fireworks, holy ware and etc.
Scholarship: Mainly a complementary profession skill in service of other profession skills. A Scholar is also capable of creating quest scrolls and portal spells.
A Profession Skillbook can be acquired by completing the required Lvl 70 main quest. Another way to lay hands on the divine skillbook is to commission a Scholar to create one for you.
Unlearning a Profession
Think the profession skill you are working on is not suitable? Not a problem! Just find a way to unlearn it. However, take note of that the level and recipes of the Profession you unlearn will also be lost. So think carefully before you decide. As how the profession is learned in the first place, you can turn to the Profession Mentor (100,-180) in the main city for help. A new Profession Skillbook is required if you want to start a new profession.
The Activity Points (AP) your character possesses will be lost gradually through gathering and manufacturing activities. At any time (whether in game or not) you are not performing these two activities, the total number of your AP will increase gradually. Note: In game recovery of AP is much faster than offline recovery.
The only way to gain Profession Exp is to use recipes to obtain relevant goods. Recipes are ranked by level as well. Note: No Profession Exp will be rewarded for honing your profession skill on recipes whose level is too low.
Your Profession will be upgraded when the amount of Profession Exp grows to a certain level. Note: Your Profession level corresponds with your characters level. If your character's level is too low, your Profession level may not increase much until the character's level is higher.
